This week more than 400 national museums of the Netherlands will open their doors to the public. This event is held for the third year, in order to show the rich history of the kingdom and its multifaceted culture.
From April, 3 till April 9, admission charges are reduced in the museums or even free in some of them. It's a good motive to visit a museum again and see something new, touch history, see the masterpieces of world art with your own eyes and participate in masterclasses.
Museums will open their most valuable and interesting exhibits, many of which are not shown on a regular basis. This is one of the main ideas of the National Museum Week, besides, of course, the main one - to introduce us to art.
All details and additional information can be found on the official website of the National Museum Week 2017.
