The first massive test event at the Beatrix Theater kicked off in Utrecht today.
500 people came to the theater with valid COVID 19 tests (48 hours).
At the entrance, all 500 volunteers got their facemasks, let their temperature being checked and put on bracelets, that can be used to track movements and read information about who they communicated with and what was the distance between them.
5 days after the experiment, each participant will re-take the test.
This way, the government wants to check COVID’s rate of infection and level of contagiousness. If everything goes well, mass events will be organized in this format.
